Peru, Take 2!

Exploring the Sacred Valley, Shamanism and Beyond!

Recently, for the second time in two years, I traveled back to Peru and the Sacred Valley!

The “Sacred Valley” is a cliché, but it is, like most, labeled so for a reason. It is a remarkable place; a place where you palpably feel the confluence of the Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether. A place, not only incredibly beautiful, but where one, somewhat irrationally, feels at home; where the body, mind, and spirit relax; where there might be much to do, explore, and understand (never mind the language barriers), yet one feels at ease and welcome.

Of course, there is much to explore, including Machu Picchu (above), but more so, the Sacred Valley is a place to simply be. A considerable part of my own exploration was in learning about indigenous and shamanic culture and ceremony. I spent hours on the Andean mountainsides in meditation, reverence, and awe of the overwhelming beauty, abundance, and balance of nature.

I know I am truly blessed. In among the challenges and strife of this world there is incredible kindness, consideration, and wisdom. I hope I can bring some of this wisdom back to you, to all of us, as we venture through our own trials and journeys here at home.

I look forward to seeing you, sharing stories, practicing together, and exploring our own adventures!

Love & Peace,

Always,

Greg
