How Do I Get To The Retreat?

You are responsible for your flight to and from San Jose International Airport. Please arrive on Saturday April 8. You may arrive at any time, however, the best time will be between noon and 4:00 PM local time. Inform us of your flight information as soon as possible. You will be met by the Pura Vida Shuttle and transported directly to the retreat center about 35 minutes away. Non-Saturday arrivals and departures shall be accommodated individually.

Will I Need A Visa To Enter Costa Rica?

US nationals, citizens of Canada and Europe do not require an entry visa to Costa Rica. However, you must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 90 days.

What will our schedule look like?

Below is our tentative schedule, subject to change by the director, instructors, or retreat center.

Will there be excursions?

Yes, there will be opportunities to explore various natural and cultural aspects of Costa Rica! You may also take advantage of the spa services, spend time relaxing by the pool, or enjoy time to yourself.

How experienced in yoga and meditation do I need to be? How fit do I need to be?

Our yoga and meditation sessions are designed to accommodate all levels and experience. The more often you practice between now and our adventure the more you will receive from our journey.

A reasonable level of physical fitness is recommended. We will be active but not overly strenuous. The retreat center is at an altitude of approximately 4000 ft (1200 m).
